What We Provide

Child Support Estimate provides free child support payment estimates for all 50 states. We use state-specific formulas including income shares (41 states), percentage of income (6 states), and the Melson formula (Delaware, Hawaii, Montana). All figures are estimates only.

We use neutral "Parent A" and "Parent B" language throughout this site. This tool is available to all parents regardless of custody arrangement or gender.

This site does not provide legal advice. It is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not affiliated with any state child support enforcement agency or family court.

Child support orders are set by courts based on many factors including special needs, healthcare costs, parenting time, and judicial discretion. Our estimates may differ significantly from actual court orders.
